What this site collects, why, and how to reach us about it.

This page explains what data shipyardgtm.com collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated 20 October 2026.

Who is responsible

Shipyard GTM is run by SIA Storchak Consulting, Mēness iela 15-1, Rīga, LV-1013, Latvia. The company is the controller of the personal data described below. Write to hello@shipyardgtm.com with any question about your data.

What the site collects and why

  • Server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time). On every visit, to run and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Google Analytics 4 (pages viewed, rough location, device, and events such as opening the calendar or booking). Only after you click Accept in the cookie banner, to see which pages help people. Legal basis: consent.
  • Where a booking came from (the site that sent you, the page you landed on, the last article you read). Kept in this browser tab only, no cookie, and passed to Calendly when you book, so we know which pages lead to calls. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
  • Calendly booking data (name, email, your answers, the time you pick). Only if you book a call, to schedule it. Legal basis: steps you ask for before a contract.
  • Emails you send us. When you write, to reply. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Your cookie choice is kept in your own browser (localStorage, key sy-consent). Fonts are served from this site, not from Google. The site sets no advertising cookies and sells no data.

Who else receives data

  • Hostinger hosts the site on servers in the EU.
  • Google receives Analytics data, only after you accept.
  • Calendly runs the booking calendar. It loads only when you click Pick a time or open Calendly in a new tab, and it sets its own cookies when it loads.
  • The "Ask AI" links in the footer open ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity or Google. Nothing is sent to those services unless you click.

Google and Calendly may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

How long data is kept

Analytics data: 14 months. Bookings and email: as long as the conversation and any work that follows need them, then deleted within 24 months. Server logs: as long as the hosting provider keeps them, normally up to 30 days.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, a restriction or a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. To withdraw analytics consent, clear this site's data in your browser and click No thanks when the banner comes back. Write to hello@shipyardgtm.com and we will answer within a month.

You can also complain to Latvia's data protection authority, Datu valsts inspekcija (dvi.gov.lv), or to the authority in the EU country where you live.
