The person behind the yard.

I build GTM systems that book meetings for B2B companies, and I have been fixing outbound since I was seventeen. This is how I got here and how I work.

The short version

I am Hlib Storchak, the founder of Shipyard GTM. I started in sales at seventeen, which mostly taught me how badly cold outreach goes when nobody has thought about who to contact or why. Everything since has been the slow correction of that.

Over the years the work moved from sending outbound to building it. Infrastructure, data, targeting, signals and copy as one system, with the sending as the last and least interesting step. That system has booked more than 2,000 meetings for B2B companies so far. Shipyard is based in Riga, Latvia, working with teams across Europe and the US.

Why Shipyard exists

Most outbound teams start sailing before they have built the ship. They buy a list, write three emails and hire someone to push volume. When it stops working, nobody can say which part broke, because there are no parts. There is just activity.

Shipyard is the opposite approach. We build the whole system first: the market map, the signals, the data, the research agents, the sending and the routing. Then we run it until meetings land in the calendar. The client keeps every part of it. We build the ship. You close the deals.

How I work

  • Targeting beats volume. The right two hundred accounts outpull the wrong five thousand, every time.
  • Timing beats targeting. A good account with a fresh reason to talk is worth ten without one.
  • Automate the work, not the thinking. AI agents do the research. A person decides what goes out.
  • The offer carries the email. No subject line rescues a weak reason to reply.
  • You keep everything. Domains, data, prompts and the playbook are yours from day one.

I will also tell you when outbound is the wrong tool. If your offer or your market is the problem, more emails will not fix it. I would rather say that on the first call than after the first invoice.

Where else to find me

I write and record most weeks, mostly because explaining something is the fastest way to find out whether I really understand it.

THE ROUTE SO FAR

From a field at seventeen to the yard.

  1. Hlib at seventeen, sitting in a green field
    2021

    Seventeen, school done

I finished school at seventeen with one clear interest: marketing and sales. No plan and no network yet, just a lot of curiosity about how companies win customers.

  2. Hlib at his desk with a laptop, books and goal posters
    2022

    Trying everything

I tried a lot of gigs. I built a social media marketing agency, then a lead generation agency. Neither worked out. Both taught me how badly outreach goes without targeting, data and a real offer.

  3. Hlib with the team on a trip by the sea
    2023

    Scaling Leadsify

I joined the Leadsify team and helped take it from 30K to 100K in monthly recurring revenue in five months. We expanded into 10 new countries and signed more than 40 clients.

    Deep into modern GTM

I worked with another agency, One Away. That is where I went deep into modern go-to-market: sourcing our own pipeline with the tools that now power every system we build, from data enrichment to AI research.

  5. Hlib at Strongest Group
    2025

    Building international GTM

I joined Strongest Group to build out its GTM unit and took it international. We now book meetings in 20 countries, signed more than 40 clients and helped over 40 VC-backed B2B companies expand.

  6. Hlib speaking at Clay Club Vilnius

    Clay Club host, Baltics

I host Clay Club in the Baltics, teaching founders and operators how go-to-market actually works today. The day job stays the same: helping B2B companies do GTM properly.

  7. 2026

    Shipyard GTM

Everything above, built into one system. Shipyard builds and runs GTM systems for B2B companies with product-market fit. The client keeps every part of it.
